Dogwood Cabin is an off grid experience. Think glamping. It is set on 25 acres in the rolling hills of Morgan County in southeast OH, close to the village of Chesterhill. Hidden in the woods, back a gravel driveway. No electricity, no running water, no central heat, no WiFi, no cell service. Truly getting out into nature without distractions.

Hang your hammock between trees. Build a fire to grill your meals. Relax on the porch or by the fire. Hike the property, play in the creek. Listen to the sounds of the forest and its creatures.

It's glamping!

This cabin was built by talented Amish youth who wanted a place to relax after a day's work. Since they moved out of state, we are happy to make it available for others to enjoy. Bring sleeping bags or hammocks. We have 4 mattresses in the loft but no linens. Bring water to drink, wash up, and to douse the campfire. Bring a flashlight or lantern. There is a propane Buddy heater to take off the chill, and a propane camping stove to heat water and food.

Warning! Four wheel drive suggested. In winter, with snow or ice, can be dangerous on the gravel driveway. Steep with deep dropoffs.
